A simple and quick dish with a few ingredients!
Ingredients:
10-15 dried shiitake mushrooms
1 lb of minced or shredded pork
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
dash of salt and pepper
Steps:
Soak mushrooms for 1 hour or until softened. Use only enough water to cover mushrooms.
Once softened, remove mushroom stems and slice mushrooms. Keep water.
Put the pork into a dish. Pour 2 tbsp water from shiitake mushroom and rest of seasoning onto pork. Mix well.
Add sliced shiitake mushrooms on top of pork
Set up a steamer with a rack. Add water and boil.
Once boiled, add dish into steamer, turn stove to medium heat.
Steam dish for 20 minutes to cook.
Serve hot, with rice.
